About Paperweight

Paperweight is a newspaper of visual and material culture.

Drawing together writers, researchers, academics, enthusiasts, designers, artists and curators, each issue takes a theme related to visual and material culture, and uses it as a starting point, or an end point, or something in-between, to explore the territory from differing vantage points. 

Available here are issue one, 'Screen: The Birthday Issue', and issue two, 'Ghosts', as either a print or digital object. 

We also offer a (very inexpensive) subscription to the second issue, 'Ghosts' (April 2011) and the third issue, 'Texture' (September 2011).
